Is there any one in the northants area with a fault mate that could test my FBH? I just installed a webasto kit as pet instructions on here but i cant get it to fire.
Cheers, Steve. You remind me of a younger me, not much younger mind...perhaps even a little older!

What kit have you installed the Danhag system, if so there is a green wire in the loom from the GSM put a 12 volt feed on that wire it should fire up the FBH bypassing all of the other things... or get some freeze spray and spray the AAT probe under the front bumper that should kick the FBH in as well has to below 5"..

No, its a webasto t91 kit with a w bus output. I spliced into the red wire on the heater and after reading issues with this i cut it completely but makes no odds.
Car asleep but wont fire, i need to be sure the heater works, tried the sensor with ice but couldnt get below 5oc, (no ice warning symbol.) and cant seem to get the sensor away from the bumper to spray it.

Steve, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I don't think that the D3 FBH will respond to a T91 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

really??? looks like its going back then, i have an email from them saying it will work. Thats why i wanted to test the fbh first.
They say its compatible with thermo top v heater and that it worked on a w bus output.
Hells teeth!!!!

From what I understand, the T91 WBUS heat commands aren't supported by whatever software the D3 FBH uses. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

ahhh. ! Any hooo, i managed to get the sensor off and put it in the freezer, fbh is locked out and wont run, even when reading -3oc.
Is any one close, or i can come to them to see whats up with a code reader? Or will i have to buy an iid tool?
As for the t91, well, i just hope they will give me a refund, doubt it, its from germany.
Thanks guys.

Steve,
See the FBH page for details of alternative diagnostic methods. As you're capable of installing it yourself you could make up a diagnostic lead or wire up to the OBD port and use the Webasto software: http://www.disco3.co.uk/wiki/Fuel_Burning_Heater#Diagnostics 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Well after 6 pints at the local pub, ive come home and pressed the order button on a iid tool!!! dont tell the missus. (at least i can do the flashing in the price)
Ill reset the heater and get it working, and if i cant find a way to get the t91 working ill hopefully be able to send it back and buy a normal timer and remote kit.
Another waste of my time!!!!! story of my life.
