Wiring Loom hacked??

I've been looking to fit front fogs and front parking sensors to my 2008 Discovery 3. I've taken the drivers side headlight out and found the wiring loom and it looks like this...

So I have fog light connector but no PDCs connector. To me it it looks like the loom has been cut into as it has no plastic cover just electrical tape. Have talked to other members on here I've found it should look like this..

What I'm trying to find out is.. Is the loom that's doesn't have the PDC connector the main loom or engine bay loom and how easy is it to replace as my main priority was to fit Parking sensors.

Cheers
Nick

It's part of the main loom. And it is a complete Censored to replace. I have pictures someplace of the loom I replaced...

Much easier to overlay the required wiring back to the PDC module Thumbs Up

Where's the PDC module located? Is it an easy job?

Behind the NSR quarter trim panel. Easy enough If you have enough wire, and the correct terminals/connector for the module

Ok where could I get a wiring diagram to get the plugs pinned out correctly. Also where can I get the correct plugs from?

Found the PCD module and it has all three connectors plugged in. Don't want to run extra wires from there as it looks a big job. Had a look at the wiring but can't find any cut/terminated wires for the missing connector. Need to have a closer look as it doesn't look right and it's annoying me. Might be going to Eastnor show if anyone's about for advise and there opinion.
