yep - all 3.0 Ltr's are auto's, as the torque from the 3.0 Ltr is too much for the manual box.

Old - MY12 D4 SDV6 XS Auto - Ipanema Sand with Almond Leather - Plus other niceties, and D4.com sticker
Older - D3 TDV6 XS Auto - Lugano Teal with Almond Leather, 20" Stormers, Shiny Tailpipes, DVD/TV - and obligatory D3 sticker
Ancient - D3 TDV6 S - Tonga with Ebony, 20" Stormers, satnav & DVD

Was there much difference between the MY11 and MY12 except the dial shift? and 6 to 8 speed box

do not buy secondhand without xenon headlights. Standard projectors are awful, infact bloody dangerous!

I'd persaonnly rather buy a year older and get HSE spec. Electric seats are worth the money alone. I went from an HSE MY11 to a commercial MY12 with luxurry pack... no comparisson

Of course I can manage perfectly well with the standard Xenons, but I do miss the Adaptive Xenons that my old 06 HSE had as standard spec. now I don't have them and the winter nights are closing in.

This is the spec, not sure what is std etc

No xenons
Part electric seats (up and down only)
Only fronts are heated
No front arm rests
Rear camera (which is great for getting really close up to stuff)
Sat Nav
Cruise
Multi function steering wheel
Leather stitched dash
Dab radio
iPod, MP3 and aux connection
Folding mirrors
Removable tow bar
Tow bar electrics
Harmond speakers
Cream leather
7 seats

Thanks for the replies people

I have been to a local dealer and sat in an xs.

I did fit at 6,6, going to find out tomorrow if that one had a sunroof or not as even .7cm can make a difference as mentioned before.

What they couldn't tell me was whether the electric seat or the manual seats would go lower?

Anyone happen to know?

They are nowhere near as bad as that, especially if you get some of the double brightness bulbs. I went from D3 xenons to Halogens and that was awful, but the projector ones are a whole lot better. Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Popped into my local dealer, just got room at 6ft 6, i dont find much difference between electric and manual seats.

Got them to keep an eye out for a 61 plate onwards (MY12) D4, preferrably with xenon and rear camera.

Now the waiting game.

P.s How easy is it to get rear cam retro fitted?
