Strait of Gibraltar
Took the D3 off road yesterday, in the pic is a mountains range across the Strait of Gibraltar which is the Pillar of Hercules on the morocco side.
There is an amazing track that runs along the coastal cliffs from Traifa it says ‘not suitable for vehicles’ but they did count on the D3! The road is full of old military gun emplacements from the Franco era and now mainly used by people and drug smugglers coming across from Morocco.
Away though you might like the pic (even if my Lurcher decided to put in an appearance), also if any one is ever down this way and wants details of the route just let me know.

Very nice.
If it weren't for the dog it would make a very good calendar entry. No offence but for that particular purpose the dog spoils the image a bit. But it is also a very nice picture of the dog.

Thanks Geoff, the only downside was that this is where I discovered the knocking noise (in my post yesterday).

Utter rubbish. The dog in the picture is what makes it great. Without the digits just another VERY boring car pic. Hopefully those that decide on which pics make the calendar have a bit of an eye for style.

This swimming attempt was probably from the westernmost point of the westernmost island belonging to Alaska to the easternmost point of the ... well you get it.
