Found this though - everytrail.com - and there are iTat and Phandroid apps.
Looks like could have been good if it weren't for everyone uploading the trip to work/Tesco! flickr

Perhaps the "forum" could arrange a membership / affiliation to provide access to an existing database e.g. http://www.trailwise.org.uk/ or http://www.way-finder.org.uk/ MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
