Jetboil's - the second coming |
|
Following on from the interest shown over the weekend, anyone want a Jetboil PCS, cost circa £45 plus postage - exact cost depends upon the level of interest

You know it's amazing! There I am with that feature turned on that automatically jumps the mouse pointer to an active button, and would you know it the cat from next door but one, picked the lock on the front door, barged in and pounced on my mouse! Click!
Oh well, I guess I'll have to have one now

Will they come with a gas canister?
I've seen JetBoils for sale online, but none of the sites will send them with a gas canister. Matt

Gas is not supplied but easily available - apparently sending gas canisters through the postal system is classed as 'dangerous'

Do camping supplies shops sell the small Jetboil cannisters then? Or do you get other brand cannisters to fit?
I was going to buy a Jetboil this week. I tried to get one last week before the Salisbury weekend, but couldn't find any local stockists. Any idea how long this group buy will take?
OutdoorGB.com has them for sale at £46.95+delivery. Matt

You don't need to get specific Jetboil cannisters.
I walked into my local A&N store and brought a gas cannister for £3 that fitted and altogether it made perfect tea on the beach on Sunday. 8)
cheers

I'd like to get a few of the jetboil gas canisters too - anyone coming to Boughrood able to bring some for me, as nobody will post to Ireland? I've got other bigger ones, but sometimes the ability to fit the canister inside the cup would be handy! IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver
SA - 07 VW Golf TDI - White - Sold!

Any 100g self sealing canister should fit inside the pot... mine are coleman or camping gaz I think.
You should have no problem getting these in Ireland, try a few stores this week.

I've been looking since I got my jetboil 3 months ago, though not in any proper camping shops - closest I know of is in Dublin, 100 miles away. I've got 220g ones and I think a 500g no problem, but nobody around here had smaller ones. IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver
SA - 07 VW Golf TDI - White - Sold!
