Think my affiliation with the Green Oval is ending
Currently sat on the back of a Recovery wagon
Was happily plodding along on the A83 wee bit of rough running followed by oil light.
It has the uprated oil pump fitted
It'll be left at the.garage for confirmation.but I think its toast
So nice Cairns.blue.parts for sale shortly perhaps

Hope its not terminal, although anything with the oil light on is not good. What sort of mileage you got on it.

I've already written it off and on the hunt for a replacement that doesn't have a Land Rover badge.
I'll have it brought home and scrap it off as I have the room to store.
Anything other than that will be a bonus but need the reliability luckily the place it decided to go wasn't too bad and I just had a phone signal but a few miles further and I wouldn't have.
Its a pity as its my 7th and I do like the comfort and driving of them but don't need the hassle.
Pity the TD5's have chassis problems as that was always my favourite

Sorry to hear this. Although you say that it’s the end of the road for LR, if you do find any other brand where a complex 137,000 miles and 13 year old car is completely reliable, please let me know what it is 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!
(One of only two known to exist in the world!)
