| Tapping noise from injector 1 |

Hello everyone, been repairing my screen washer jets today after the monkies at the safari zoo decided to rip them off along with the wing indicators and part of roof rack 🙄 while under bonnet heard a tapping / hissing noise, unlike the normal tdv6 noises, took the engine cover off and sprayed leak detector on the number 1 injector and theres definitely a leak from there, all the others are fine.. I’ve done a video but can’t upload it, do I have to change the full injector or is there replacement seals available? I want to do it myself so is there any risk of anything dropping in while I take it off? I’m not a total newbie to working on cars, rebuilt my fd3s rx7 and 200sx Nissan and worked on my previous car Audi s5 but totally new to Land Rover Discovery 4 and diesels

Copper washer under the injector needs changing ASAP, sooner it is done the easier it is to extract the injector. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Also need one of the cheap seat cutter sets off ebay under 20 quid, you do not actually cut the seat, basically you use the tool to scrape it clean.
