Is it a hangover from the Festive Season or do I remeember seeing a post about some boot liners/carpets tailored to fit the drop down section of the tailgate? If it is a memory failure please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

All of the above.
I've gone on recommendations and photos on here and ordered one - should be with me soon.
What they don't show on their website is another extension piece that allows you to cover the middle row (seats down) and up the back of the front seats, so will be useful for protecting them when carting long dirty items about. Costs £25. The sales director said they don't advertise them on the web cos they don't get much call for them - I wonder why. MY12 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand

Ordered a Hatchbag before Christmas and fitted it the other day, really impressed so far.
Took about an Hour to fit, but once in place it does not seem to move. Takes about 5 minutes to remove and about 10 mins to install now all the velcro pads are in place.
It protects the whole boot area. I'm going to leave mine in all the time to protect the carpets etc.
Hope this helps Mud Flaps - Slimer

I v had one for over 6 years and there great .
As I carry a boot full of stuff ... The sides often slide down with all the weight . I have since fitted some press studs to keep it in place ... Much better than the Velcro G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I have found the problem with boot liners to be when you want to use the rear seats and have to take the whole lot out.
Does Hatchbag get round this somehow? Paul

if you mean the third row ...then yes you have to take it out ( or fold it to one side if just one seat is being used )
if your using the rear seats all the time why would you want a bootliner G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
