I have a number of small scratches on the D3. I would like to eliminate or reduce them. In the Caravanning and Camping Club "Out & About" magazine there is an ad for Repro Auto Scratch remover. It is reputedly used by US Military, Boeing and MacDonnell-Douglas. 250 ml for £9.99 (was £14.99) Anyone tried this or is Megulars ScratchX the best thing? Years ago I was a great fan of Brasso, perhaps this is still the thing to use?Any views welcome, thanks.

I have used on many occassions the MER scratch remover and find it very good. Is usually around £7.00 and works on a cloth. Then a coat of polish and robert is your fathers brother
Nick D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

T, I've used Farecla G10 on quite a few vehicles and found it to be pretty good, failing that if the scratches are more than 'minor' and you want a showrom type re-finish then you should nip down and see Fraser at Headley bodyshop next to the tyre place and let him work his magic, that will obviously be more than a tenner but he does do a cracking job! and theeeeennn......???

I like to use bracken, brambles and branches to add to my repertoire of scratches....it really gives my motor that distressed and weathered look. Another big bonus is that the green envious vandals of this world think that someones already run some keys down the side ....fantastic ! 8) 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
