Nokia Cradle and Nokia 6230I |
|
The Nokia cradle have been delivered and the Nokia 6230i too.
It works very well on the cradle or in the bluetooth mode.
I have chosen to have the automatic answering mode for bluetooth and cradle mode.
Two remarks:
1- it’s a pity that the display is not on the navigation screen but on the radio display (more difficult to read the information while driving).
2- The signal strength is not permanently display (you have to check by calling the phone mode, to know if the signal is good or poor). "Lady": Discovery 3 HSE Seven TDV6 Tonga Green.
Options : Automatic Gearbox, Premium navigation system, Personal telephone integration system, Park distance control front, Powerfold exterior mirrors, Sunroof plus Alpine roof, Lower centre console cooler box, Cold climate pack, Full size spare wheel.

Re: Nokia Cradle and Nokia 6230I |

I am looking at getting a new phone and currently have a 6230i. I have chosen the Parrot CK 3100 bluetooth system (not as expensive as nokia) and will be putting a 12v feed for the phone charger in the glovebox. I have tested the parrot and although there is no cradle I think its pretty good value and doesn't restrict your choice of phone - although I have always had Nokia the wife prefers whatever is the trendy, colourful model so she can also use it......when I am in the car, I am not mad.......
Nick D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.
