Service dept at the Dealer suprised me today

Took the car in for the dealer to look at the tyres as they are scrubbing the inside edges, and to book it in for a few other rectifications.

I wanted the PDC update, and the Infotainment update, expecting them to act dumb, they were right on the ball, "ah yes sir, will take us a day, but no problem"

The only downer is they told me that my car needs a 4 wheel alignment check, but they have not got the D3 alignment software yet. I presume they can get it, but it is a bit concerning.

Had my alignment checked by my dealer who had it done in their Porsche premises, where they have a system for checking the Cayenne. Hope it's compatible with D3.
That was about 3 months ago and all is well.

Gareth, my D3 has exactly the same issue but I haven't yet had a chance to get it to my dealer to have it checked. My dealer has said that scrubbed tyres due to poor tracking wouldn't be covered under warranty but I undersand from others on this forum and an American LR3 forum, that the same problem elsewhere has been fixed under warranty with a contribution towards the cost of replacing the tyres. Would be very interested to know what the outcome is for you.
