Series 2a Insurance advice please....
Just been quoted £140-odd for renewal by Heritage.
Car value of £4K with mileage limited to 3,000, includes legal and breakdown.
The car only did about 200 miles last year, and I just wondered if that sounds ball-park or if there are cheaper options elsewhere
Thanks in advance"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I'd be happy with that. I paid 175 for me and my brother as a named driver. With Lancaster.
To be honest, it's so cheap I can't be arsed hunting out a better quote.

Fair enough, I just wondered as I had nothing to reference it against

Not a Series II but just today had my renewal through for my Forward Control.
Military Vehicle, 1976, value £5,500, 2,000 miles/year max (it does considerably less), me as the only driver, Fully Comp.
£109.64. That's through Premium Choice and £29.00 of it is their 'Arrangement Fee'.
Agree with Gareth, I can't be arsed either to find something better. I'll just be paying it.

Comedy was a horse, Harvey a dog, both sadly gone. Thought I was choosing a password!

Euan, I've got my SIII with Heritage and that sounds in the right ballpark. I've also got the guaranteed value clause and key insurance included. D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT
P38 RR - Sad parting
110 - Even sadder parting
S3 88" - Still going strong after 23 years of ownership
