Nice wheels!!!

Very Happy
Please forgive the question but I am a new D3 owner and have 20" stormers fitted
I dont want to change the rims but want an AT tyre
Must say yours now look superb.....
Are they 20" stormers?
Will those tyres replace my 275/45/20?
If I had 5 would the new size fit the spare wheel carrier or would I be better off fitting 4 and leaving the spare alone??

What sort of money are those tyres and where do you advise me going to get them

Thanks and sorry if my questions sound silly
Regards
Clive

Thanks Greedy Thumbs Up

Yes they are 20" Stormers

They are 285/50/20s

No they won't fit as a spare withoutbdeflating partially

I bought them from Prospeed in York Thumbs Up

Hi Guys,

I'm pretty new to this forum business. I've never posted before so I hope you don't mind me chiming in. I'm a little late to this thread too, only 4 years!

I've been admiring devonchilliman's job on his black stormers - they look amazing! I'm hoping to do a similar job on my D3, but had a couple of questions...

I'm interested in the 285/50/20 tyre size - I'm a Devon country lad myself so want something fairly gnarly but also still keeping the 20" rim. Would any of you know whether I'd have issues with rubbing with a wheel/tyre of that size? I've read other posts about people installing lift kits to allow the bigger wheel/tyre sizes - just wondered if thats entirely essential?

Also, being 4 years on - how has the finish on those wheels lasted?? I love the satin/matt look from your pictures, would love to do a similar thing. Interested to know how durable its been though.

Many thanks in advance guys,
Cheers.

They should fit JUST nearly rub at the inside edge at the top against a suspension mount.

I run my for 4 years like this passed 4 MOTS and had absolutely no problem.

Or fit 15mm spacers.

Thanks for the inspiration!!

I've had my Disco 3 for about 5 years and finally got around to upgrades. Thanks to all the posters here I'm super pleased with the result. A few pics for you.

Satin black stormers + AT3
Upgraded rear lights, grille and black badges, plus stereo upgrade to carplay.

Next stop will be sorting the brakes out
