Astonbuilder - thoroughly enjoying the F-Pace. I think you're right about the exhaust note, it seems to be getting sharper, louder and more boisterous as it runs in. I put 1k miles on it over the weekend taking it to Scotland and back, and on some of the twisty valley roads on the way home it came in to its own. Especially in Dynamic mode with the gearbox in Sport, savage sports car performance. I was very impressed
It's certainly better on 'smiles per gallon' than miles per gallon at the moment, but that's partly why I sold the Mini. It's got true duality, sensible-enough as a day-to-day cruiser but rolls its sleeves up and kicks off when you want it to.
