Roof basket recommendations pls

Afternoon folks,

Looking for a decent roof rack/basket. Mainly camping stuff. But I haven't got the disco T track. What have you used? Added the tracks then got a rack or got one that fits directly to the roof? Not liking the idea of clip on roof bars, other than that, any advice is most welcome.

I'm just about to get a 2nd hand prospeed, but I have a little rack that use with roof bars and clamps from inside a roof box (I use the box also)

Will try and find some pics of it on my old Freelander Thumbs Up Iggy/Ieuan

Thanks, gives me something to ponder. Emailed prospeed to see if they do a kit suitable without rails. See what they come back with. 05 D3 S - Gone but never forgotten

I did buy some last week and then they arrived damaged. Gained a refund but that was the last that company had in stock. Thinking flee bay now, but it got me wondering what others had done. 05 D3 S - Gone but never forgotten

Wondering if i can adapt them to sit straight onto roof rails?
