Just had Geoff visit and he's fitted the remote timed climate to the D4. Brilliant bit of kit and works a treat. Must have mod IMHO - Give the man a shout if you need it done Yet another massive Geoff. Thanks mate My17 Volvo XC90 Inscription

I had this on my FFRR and really miss it for the D3.
Geoff do you know of a setup that will do this (not just the FBH pre-heat) and if so how much would it be fitted?

Pete Bell (B.A.S) does a superb kit for this. I have one, fitted by Geoff incidentally, on my G4 D3. Works perfectly, first time, every time. Absolutely essential on my course last week when the temperature was very low at 6 am! Nip out or lean out of the window, press the button, go for breakfast and 30 mins later when I got to the car, it was warm, defrosted and ready to go with warm air from the blowers as soon as I got inside.
Can't recommend these kits highly enough!
Best,

This is something I'm interested in. Does the installation have any effect on the warranty.
Waiting for delivery in April, its an XS in Orkney Grey.

i really can't see why it would effect anything your putting in genuine landrover parts and you cant even tell its been fitted so i see no reason why it would

Thanks for that Geoff.
It's something I'm really interested in, and a lot cheaper than having it factory fitted. I'll be in touch when I take delivery of my car.
