Sorry numpty question here, but what is the purpose of this ladder? I think it is to aid loading/unloading of roof racks/cross bars etc but isn't this what the rear loading hatch that will carry two people is all about?
So what is the purpose?

So it's £129.25 for two lengths of rope is it LLR?
Bargain
Rogues, even standing on the tailgate there is a limit to how far forward yo can safely reach. And what if you have the expo rack?
The (metal) ladder mounts on the rear upper tailgate and allows you much easier access to the roof (especially if you are and oompah-loompah like me)
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
as well as the access.....it looks fantastic! 2007 HSE Java Black.....sold

Cheers. Thought it would be something like that.
Presume the ladder doesn't interfere with the roof when you lift the top half of the tailgate up?
I'm also guessing that the fix points for the ladder is on the top tailgate under/behind the black tailgate handle, is there any concern with the weight of someone using the ladder that it will damage the tailgate in some way?
cheers
