It has to do with how you access the site. Martin seems to use disco3.co.uk while Hardware seems to use disco4.com.

If you take a look at the img element, the source URLs point to www.disco3.co.uk/blahblah when accessing the site as disco4.com. On the other hand, cross origin seems to be disabled somewhere.

A fix could be either of these:

1. Martin to fix the inline image source URL to point to www.disco4.com/blahblah when the user accesses the site as disco4.com. The [same] origin check would pass, the images would load and be rendered inline.

2. Relax the cross-origin requirement (if possible or wanted)

Some more troubleshooting. Curiously disco3.co.uk and disco4.com seem to behave slightly differently. The former seems to allow other images from origins than itself while the latter does not (hence the original complaint by kilovolt and hardware, etc.).

If accessing the site as disco4.com, the two images below will not render (at the time of writing).

On the other hand, if accessing as disco3.co.uk OR disco4.com, the two images below will (at the time of writing) render.

Thusly, on disco3.co.uk one sees four images in this email while on disco4.com one sees two "Click image to enlarge ..." messages followed by two images.

In most browsers you can click on the right mouse button and select Inspect to take a look at whatever element you want on the page.

I bet the Cloudflare implementation has done this. Leave it with me.

Thanks @kajtzu for delving into it and looking at it a different way to how I was going about it Smile
