You need both of the above to be correct for it to work.
The smallest I could find quickly was 5A, but I'd like to find a 1A.D4 HSE, Active Rear Diff, surround cameras, adaptive xenons, heated steering wheel, TPMS, remote park heating, centre console cooler box

yup, both add a fuse fuses need to be in for it to work XC90 T8 R Design Pro

P.S, worst bit was forcing my hand into the small area to get to the mini fuses,then trying to use my fat fingers to get at the fuses in the pitch black,all I can say is Land Rover Techies must have tiny hands Www.devonchilliman.co.uk

Recently purchased a Blackvue camera and Power Magic for my D4. Scratched my head a bit about where to route the wires and how to connect up the PM then thought I'd do a quick search on here. Yep - everything I needed (once again ) to sort it all out.

Just removing my BV before d4 gets part exchanged.
Are 28 and 29 fuses empty as standard? Taken piggy back fuse connector out and can't remember which fuse it came from and whether I should put a fuse back in the slot or leave it empty?XC90 T8 R Design Pro

I've now got my blackvue but have a couple of questions about the install.
I have the mini 'add a circuit', do I need to put a mini fuse in the top of this to make the circuit and then provide a fuse?
If so is this just on one side of the 'add a circuit' or do both parts require a fuse?
I won't be using a power magic so will be using the switchable source, I guess I just swap over if I want permanent live to number 28?
I have seen people discuss 1A and 5A fuses, which should I use?

You need to put two fuses in each add a fuse..... One to protect the original circuit on the car you are utilising of the same rating that that circuit requires and one fuse rated at the level you want for the new circuit..... They don't look it but they are separate circuits!

Ps I would look at using a power magic.... They are brilliant.... You can if you want run the camera even when parked...useful if you live in a town with on street parking and the battery won't be flat when you come back to it.... Really really easy to wire in as well.

So if I put in one of the empty spaces then I only need one fuse?
5A or 1A for the blackvue?
Next question, I'm using my PC to view the install picture. With the blackvue plugged in, the book says to click on the wifi button in the blackview application, I can't find it. If I click on 'settings' it just tells me the SD card isn't plugged in which I know because it's in the camera. Am I missing a trick?

You've confused me now.....
Select a circuit that you decide for supplying permanent live and remove the original fuse and replace it with the ' add a fuse' . The original fuse that you took out then needs to be placed in one of the fuse spaces in the 'add a fuse'..... I think it's the bottom one but you'll need a circuit tester to confirm... This is to bridge the original gap and to protect the original circuit.
The second fuse either 1a or 5 a depending on which you prefer is then placed in the remaining slot in the add a fuse.... This one then protects the new circuit that you've spurred off......
Hope that makes sense...
Re the PC issue load the blackvue software onto your PC..... When it opens you're normally given three options of which one of them is wifi....
I had issues with the Blackvue initially communicating with my computer. You have to press the small button on the end of the camera once only and the device will say wifi on..... At this stage I then got my computer through the normal settings to search for a router wifi device until it found the blackvue... You have to obviously be in the car with your laptop as the broadcast strength isn't great... Once they were connected the password I think was 'Blackvue ' but the instructions will advise you I then came out of that settings program and restarted the blackvue program on your laptop.... As they are already connected they then gave me easier access to the files....
