| Pay and Play North East England |

Ive been trying to find local pay and play offroad centres around newcastle or northumberland for some time with little luck. Has anyone used these lately?

Hi ........
There's nothing in Northumberland at the moment, Pea Farm at Stanley is closest but I heard he was only open for bikes now.
I was at Fuddy Muckers at Stanhope on Sunday, a disused quarry with a lot to do for modified and shineys. He's opening once a month for 4x4, no bikes allowed. £20 per car. Check his website.
After that, for a long day out is Tong at N Yorks and Robin Hoods Bay.

Whilst not a pay and play site there is the Kielder 4x4 Safari in surprise surprise Kielder Forest 
I must emphasise that it is very tame compared to a P&P site but you do get to drive some of the private tracks in Kielder Forest and the proceeds go to The Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team 
There is a link to the website in my signature and the day costs £55 which includes a free cooked breakfast for the driver  Cheers Ian

Yes, remember that one.
Muddy Trout.....it was closed by the council last year.
Had 2 trips there, it was a good site. Pity 2009 spec D3 HSE
