Marks & Spencer fit Parrot to all their company cars where hands free kits are needed, including Directors cars. I know 'cos I I used to work there. Parrot makes good quality kit !
Installation pix lookin good chaps. Keep 'em coming. I like Methley's mounting position for the MKI9200 screen to the left of the rev counter.
I was actually wondering today whether the position that ridgeback_moor has mounted his kit would be good; does this work for you?

I've had this Parrot in two cars now, wired in to HK system, always excellent sound quality in both directions.Clive

Cheers Mac, it's just a bit of 25 x 2 mm alloy strip from B&Q suitably bent in a vice and painted black.
The idea for it came to me when I pulled off that bit of trim and noticed the conveniently placed fixing screw behind it.Clive

Clive, it looks like it would prevent you from access the spot light button if you had one? Do you think you could still use the button. Nice install.D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Cheers Stu, I'm not sure where the spot light switch goes when its fitted, I guess if it's on that little panel to the left of the Rev counter then yes it would be in the way.
The Parrot is not flat on that panel though, I've set it at an angle by putting a "return leg" on the top of the alloy strip.Clive

POINTYED, the 3200 colour screen unit comes with an attached cable that plugs into the interface box, I don't know if the mono screen version (or the other colour screen versions) are the same, the cable is not readily removable from the 3200 unit.Clive

Possibly a stupid question coming up from yours truly but why are you all installing Parrot car kits when some of you have LR kits as standard?

My Disco didn't come with any LR bluetooth kit and I hear its overpriced tat, and hear that Parrot is much better.
I was actually wondering today whether the position that ridgeback_moor has mounted his kit would be good; does this work for you?
I chose to mount it there as it's out the way, but you can still see the screen. I have the phone buttons on the steering wheel connected to the Parrot kit (using the Multicom module), so don't need to use the buttons on the display.Previously:

All this talk about Parrots and fitting them etc.... Is it easy to buy and install at home? I am not into removing panels and the like as they usually dont fit back in place when i touch them... Dont want grease the palms of the likes of Halfords... Alternatively, does anyone know of a decent fitter in the SW London?

I have the Parrot 9200 in my work vehicle and its the dogs proverbials compared to the system in the Disco, the voice recognition works it holds twice the amount of names, and the sound is just as good
