Override Switch for Rear Parking Sensors |
|
Is there any way to turn off or put an over ride switch in for the rear parking sensors?
Maybe mounted in the back somewhere near the power socket that can turn the sensors OFF.
Not really a lot of need for them for a few weeks towing a trailer.

Don't you have a switch on the dash near the hazard warning light which switches them off? It flashes while they are activated 2014 D4 XS

Yes I do, I thought the manual said that was only for the front sensors.
I will try it and see, thank you 1999 Disco 1, 300TDi, Snorkel, ARB Dual Lockers, 9500 Come-Up Winch, Custom Bars & Sliders, Terrafirma +2in Shocks. Silverstone MT-117 33".

If you have the tow electrics enabled in the car config (dealer can do it) then it won't use the rear sensors when trailer plugged in. Bodsys Brake Bible

If you get your car enabled for tow electrics, it turns them off automatically when a trailer is connected.
