Ok, I'll have to ask
It's amazing how not knowing something insignificant can bug you....
To the left of the steering column on my car is a small rectangular vent. Nothing seems to blow out of it and looking down it, it doesn't seem to go anywhere significant.
So.....
What is it there for?MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price! - So good I bought another!
MY2012 D4 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - retired to a new home
Its probably the return for the cabin air and has the temperature sensor behind it.Mark.
2006, D3 SE Auto - gone but not forgotten.
2014 BMW 530d M Sport Tourer.
1977 Triumph Spitfire 1500

Pos just need cleaning with cowl off etc. that's the cheap option. Suspension bit more of a financial hit. Leaking Left rear airspring and 2 failed crossover valves, plus wiring issues.
And 2 trashed ATRs.
