OEM Roof Crossbar screws ?
Hi all.
does anyone on here know if there is a part number for the Hex head adjustment screws on the OEM roof bars ??
Or alternatively size / thread ?
Obviously made with a head of finest Chineseum.
(Why was the roof designed in such a way that you have to adjust the width of the rear bar every time to fit / remove it ?).
Thanks.

I have no quarrel with the shape of the roof line.
Walk in to any Thule shop and source the screw.2015 LR4 HSE Lux Aintree Green

Hi Pete,
Like you I have replaced the original 3mm hex drive screws as they were getting chewed up. It is a countersunk m4/5 but I will check thread and length later today. I am sure I bought a handful at my local nuts and bolts supplier but will check if I have any leftover.

From a search on here they are M5x12 countersunk.
You can get Torx variant if you want to reduce the risk of stripping the head.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Correct Martin, with a 10mm countersunk head
I purchased mine used from a forum member and the threads were corroded so there was a lot of strain on the hex head. Dab of grease on the new ones and no issues so far.
