Just developed a fault on the drivers side Xenon, not a major prob, but a niggling poxy fault. Has anybody else experience it, or what could be the cause?
Mine is a HSE and I leave the lights on Auto all the time, I switch off the engine and FOLLOW ME HOME lights stay on, however the O/S flickers noticibly, like its flashing. I can manually stop it by pressing the Landrover button on the fob, and then it stays on - no fault.
Now with playing about tonight this only does the flickery thingy when I leave the D3 in drive height, if I put it into access mode and go through the same process all is ok
Is this just one of those things or a known fault

Fair few people (inc me) have Xenons that flicker when first turned on (auto on mine) but as soon as engine running they settle and work as expected.
Not heard of them flashing when been on / follow me home. Height sounds like it could be a red herring ? "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Mine don't flicker whatsoever in any mode combination. You've got a fault Mac.
The Tech. will have fun with that one . Prob use a spare light assem in the workshop to trace fault.
The flashing thingy: is it a lose connection sort of flash or a real flashing interval phenomenon ?

BCB and mine both do it on start up plus others. This is a new one on me . . . On start up, it's easier to understand "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Yes, I sometimes get the same thing. It's different to the switch-on flicker. I have no idea what it is. I plan to see how it develops as the dark nights return.

Trying to compare it to known start up flickeriing, but this does seem different. Battery related, low voltage ? seeing as you only get issue with engine off (assumed as you mention follow me home lights).
I'll ask my brother too, see if he has seen anything similar at his dealership . . . "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."
