I need a volunteer to fault find on my IID tool, I’m not getting all the ECU info required from my D4 to send to Pat ref California stop, Pats suggested some trouble shooting which has helped but I’m now at a stage where he suggests I try my tool in another D4 and another tool In my my D4 to see if it’s the tool or the car at fault i’m in and around Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth Norwich areas if any one can help?

when you are using your iid are you using it with the audio system turned off ? please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick,thankyou

Eightfoot I’ve tried with the radio on and off same with the engine running and not, doesn’t make a difference, Pat says I’m missing all the HS can ecus

Andy, hope you’re sorted by now but if not a friend of mine is in Yarmouth and has an IID for his FFRR.. he’s new to it so maybe you could help each other figure this out..? Drop me a pm if this would help... I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Hope you got back to Lowestoft ok, good to meet a fellow enthusiast off here. And now I think you're probably as equally confused as you were when you started.
My take is that your IID tool is working fine, your Disco is working fine and GAP need to read their emails more thoroughly! 1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

As a matter of interest..... anyone with a 2010 XS could you connect your tool, start it then
-Menu--IIDTool Config--Find ECUs
And let me know how many ecus it finds

It’s not noticeable all the time but when slowing then getting on the gas again (at a roundabout for instance) there’s a ‘thump’ as the slack in the transmission is taken up, the update helps negate it. General consensus is the chain in the transfer box has stretched.
I think all the green ovals I’ve owned have done it!!

Could be any number of things in the driveline, propshaft joints, rear diff bushes, suspension bushes. 1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8
