MY08 after 4 months had the noisy wiper problem. A visit to the dealer and he promptly contacted spares & hey presto, a bottle (with LR logo) appeared. "Just clean your screen with this & all will be fine" were the instructions!
Taken aback I duly accepted the bottle, went home & did the necessary. It has now been 2 months and still no more vibration noise, amazing..... and yes, we have had rain and I have used them! Also had the car to the car wash where they used the normal soapy stuff to clean, All still fine Ren Colyn

Hi all - just bought a used 2007 Disco 3 - horrible wiper noise from drivers side - do i go back to dealer or just buy some valeo as recommended? Dealer reckons it's just been serviced and wipers replaced - bull?

I picked up a 07 Discovery 3 on Saturday and had a 300 mile journey and it rained for 299.9 miles. The wipers were driving me up the wall, juddering, bouncing and screeching across the windscreen. I thought, well 1st job when back home is change the wipers or clean them . . . . . then I was sent a link to Diso3 web site and was rummaging around when I found all your comments on noisy wipers, so who was I to argue, ordered a set of Valeo X-TRM UM665, now it is blissfully quiet .

I was given some of that from my dealer as well - it's called Land Rover "screen paste" on my bottle and one application has sorted the problem for over a year now!!! - Silence

Land Rover screen clean paste part number |
|
The part number for the Land Rover screen clean paste (125ml) is: [ DNJ500340 ]
Going to be ordering a bottle this week... will post a follow up letting you guys know how it works.
I have brand new Bosch ICON (2x 422A) wipers, which I installed 9 days ago. They're excellent. However the left-hand wiper arm makes a loud noise as it comes into contact with the vertical ledge of the windshield. I also notice what appears to be a thin residue over the entire screen, too.

Then put some Rain Ex on the screen. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
