The new blades are fine. The silence with the new ones is deafening!
You need to clean the sceen after the old ones though as they appear to leave a residue.
Anyone had problems with the new blades?“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

The rear wiper? No valeo option that I'm aware of but I guess there must be one. Trouble is, the aerodynamics of the car are such that the rear wiper gets pulled away from the rear screen and the rear glass gets every contaminant under the sun sprayed all over it, making blade life appallingly short. A different blade may help, but I suspect a more powerful spring to hold the blade to the glass might be what's needed.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

WAY too technical a solution for on here, Wiggsy! 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods
None of mine have worked particularly well on the rear for more than about 5000 miles. All fine at first, but soon deteriorate. I've just come to accept that the rear screen will always be rubbish.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I'm still on the original rear blade without any probem after 31k.

Rear one is the same for me. I did 'Rainex' mine recently though, does help. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

I asked the question about the rear blade - seemeda good idea to replace it at the same time as the front, but in fact mine is still original and clears the screen OK after 39k. So I'll stick with it now. You made some good point NoDo$h - thx.
Valeos on order for the front - looking forward to silence
Cheers
D2KD1 Tdi200s done. D2 V8 ES done. D3 TDV6 HSE now
I put Rainex on my rear screen too - much better now, as the blade doesn't have to wipe so much as push the water off now. A definite improvement, and the side windows just shed any water straight off also. About £5 from Halfrauds IIRC Previously:

As some have reported good results with the new LR blades (Pt No: DKC500230) I tried to buy some of at my dealer yesterday.... He advised me that I would be wasting my money and that LR were 'still working on the problem'!
So I tried to part with £32.65, but he wouldn't take it... (Mind you I had just handed him best part of £3k but thats another story... Lets just say SWMBO won't be using Unleaded again...)
Anyhow, off to get some Valeos now - as I drove home from the dealer yesterday, it was raining, and the wiper judder just drives me round the bend!
Anyone know what the Valeo blade for the rear wiper is?
Cheers
D2K. (must upgrade username to D3K...)
Which dealer do you use ?
I have had my Valeo's for about two weeks now and the silence is unbelievable.

Do we need anyother spares to be order to change th blades? some little clips or stuff when we are replacing the blades?Arno

nothing else needed. Just unclip the old ones and slide and clip the new ones in. The 'Valeo' logo on the blade goes upside down. Sheer bliss! Get some rainX too for all windows esp. rear. Don't be paranoid.........'They' don't like it!!!!!!!

It's a spray liquid that you wipe onto the windows that helps repel rain. Water just beads and runs off. It helps the wipers to not drag. Good stuff and only about a fiver. Don't be paranoid.........'They' don't like it!!!!!!!
