Well the sales guy turned a cross between, puse green and vivid yellow, It was as if I had insulted is parentage. ( which i did , outside.) I don't want a Disco in that colour.

Had some great info via the P.M system so I am of to surf the web and make some long distance phone calls.

WOW, Very good Very Happy

Now back to the Disco.

The showroom I went to today was Listers! even though the name above the door said otherwise. No movement on price £32495 for the S and all he wanted to do was talk different ways to pay. Cash is out of fashion.
O.K. all you wiz kids...What the hell is a ballon payment, residual value and all other tweeky bits.

I cook food, not the books.

When it comes down to it if you're going for finance whatever your dealer tells you don't commit to anything, 99.9% of the time you can get a better rate yourself. He'll probably give you a base rate but not the APR and tell you it's not relevant, it is. He's (she's?) on a commission for arranging the finance so why pay his middle man fees, go direct to to the lender and get a better or equivalent deal. Don't forget if you buy with dealer finance you've got the car on HP, it's not yours until the final payment, if you arrange a personal loan it's your from day one.

Go and check out www.moneysavingexpert.com and spend a decent while reading through lots of good advice. There's normally links to the best current rates but you'll also find most of them on www.moneysupermarket.com (make sure you've got a pup-up blocker running when you hit that one though). It's also worth checking out what your local building societies are doing, sometimes they have some really good offers on in the smaller ones

Don't forget if you haven't actually got the cash but could get a better discount if you did just arrange a loan then use it to pay in cash Very Happy
