New Faultmate MSV-2 upgrade Released
Several Months ago we released an upgrade for the MSV-2 that added many hundreds of new inputs and output parameters to many vehicle systems of the Disco 3 and went quite some way to achieving our goal of absolute and complete capability and coverage of this model as a requisite stage before we do the same with the D4 Etc
Finally, after a very long hard slog, we are now scheduled to release another upgrade on Monday 17th December that brings even more capability and coverage than the last upgrade and brings the coverage level to 100%
On the basis that these additions will not affect what is already provided, and that nothing we are adding is but additional / accessory oriented, and anything that may need further tweaking can be done later, we are forgoing beta testing on this. After all if it only half woks as it should that is still an improvement.
The new upgrade will also include basic coverage in respect of Fault codes and CCF editing on both the Evoque and L405 Range Rover, but this is only for Beta testing reasons at present.
We have also updated the FFL database which will be released at the same time, however i am a bit perplexed that after updating the FFL database the last upgrades shown for the EAS system are 2009, and as far as i understand recently there has been a Compressor change that requires a matching re flash i ain't seeing
Does anyone have any software or assembly number part numbers relating to this update that i can use to help me track this down ?

Yea, I have scoured the TSB's to death, got the SDD upgraded to the minute and sucking the bejesus out of it upgrade information wise, but it almost seems this upgrade is handled in a non standard way by the SDD. Hence i am flagging it up and need to get it resolved.

ISTR that the SDD doesn't/can't detect which compressor is fitted/replaced and asks the operator AMG or Hitachi.

@ Maplecottage
The VE.exe itself is still the same as it has been for many years as it is only the many additional control files that the VE.exe uses that are changed or added when doing an update as well as the Vehicle server software modules that have to be loaded onto the vehicle server.
Files that are changed or added in this upgrade will be denoted by having the V1.31 version number in their title.
@ Stornowaystu
Yes there is a compressor replacement service feature in the SDD which asks what type of compressor you have fitted.
I was just being lazy and hoping to save some time, but in the end we ran it on the very latest SDD and went through the 3 options to confirm that the new FFL does indeed include the respective files.
@ All MSV-2 owners
The V1.31 and FFL V1.3.3 are now released and available via the links provided in the BBS forum.

Cheers chap,
I promise you don't know even the half of it
TBH, this upgrade is very significant to me personally, as it completely fulfills the promises and obligations i took on when I first participated in this forum.
There may be things that still need the odd tweak or fix here and there but this can all be done retrospectively.
In the meantime there is now so much more for owners to play with, and enjoy or use to help sort problems out with the MSV-2 system.
Have an enjoyable weekend your self

No problems here but have only downloaded, not tried to install as yet.
I'll give it a go and see what happens.
Edit: Got the very same - will need to record the exact text and forward to Colin
