New D4 got today (Happy Mrs Tiger)
It's been a testing couple of months since we sold Mrs Tiger's D3 and we've been using my toy car (Td5 110) as the family bus which with a couple of long trips with young kids (200 miles plus each way). We've really missed the comfort of the D3 and I have a slightly grumpy wife who is being forced to drive the 110 to supermarket and two young children with mild tinnitus.
Well, I spoke to the nice chaps at Hadley Green and our D4 is being built next week 28th April. Yay!
We'll be joining "Club Corris"
Here's the good ol' D3 (Still on here with new plate and owner)
Here's the 110 (Used to be called "Darth Fender", now called "Divorce Fender" ) *
Here's the new D4
Now
* They only look like double yellows

Excellent stuff.
The good folk of Solihull have started to make mine today which means it should be on the drive in early May, fingers crossed.

When we ordered it many moons ago now all of these "Corris" cars hadn't turned up on the forum
Seems since we confirmed the colour a while back the "Corris" flood gates opened.
Do we know if "Corris" is named after the small Welsh Village and the Slate (Grey) connection.
I was in Corris this week

I didn't spec my latest D4, it was going to be registered as a demo vehicle, so the dealer chose the colour.
It would have been one of my choices though. As a no cost option it's going to be popular for those who want a darker colour.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

When I speced mine in October I knew the colour would be corris or 2 others...November or December I chose, so that must make me a very early member of the corris club!Mike

I've never been a big fan of the greys, but the more I see it the more I think, that's the colour I would have and with the black pack, if I was in a position to buy brand new.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

For me it went a little:
I would never have a black land rover again...ever.
Green (ive had a few of those) seems an old/dated colour now
White was cool on the range rovers, but makes a disco look like a van (just like it makes a defender look like its in the UN
Nara Bronze was really nice, but I was advised against having one due to resale
LRE grey is the worst colour to have apparently resale wise as people assume its an experience car
Corris was a nice grey and balanced a number of different practicalities...the other darker grey was too close to black for me. Also Corris apparently is the most popular colour for discoverys or at least a good colour when it comes to resale.
ive probably just slated most people's colours there each to there own thoughMike
