Need a caravan site recommendation for Jurassic coast...
We would like to take the caravan down to Dorset, specifically the Jurassic coast. Looking for a quiet, dog friendly site, that will be open 3rd week of October.
Any recommendations?

Stayed at Bingham Grange near Bridport - one of the Tranquil Holiday Parks chain, so no children but dogs are OK. Nice site, with some fully serviced pitches, and a good restaurant on site.
make sure you get to Hive Beach http://www.hivebeachcafe.co.uk/TLO has left the building.......

Hi
There are a few sites around Charmouth, there's a caravan and camping club one which is dog friendly, we stayed at wood farm a few years ago it was nice there and had a heated pool.

Hillhead although a tiny bit further West is superb and has great dog walks, it is equidistant between Dartmouth and Brixham (2 miles either direction isn) so you have lots to explore, maybe worth a stop there if going that way
they have two sites this golden cap and highlands end one larger more commercial one much smaller ( cant remember which way round ) but both very good and you can use facilities of the larger if staying at the smaller one MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car

Gareth I've stayed at Rose Coombe Farm Compbyne and another one at Seaton Junction both have electric hook up. The later is about £6pn but the electric supply can be iffy. Both are lovely sites, if you want something more like a commercial site then the first one is better a write up was in a CC magazine http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/caravanclubap...y%2009.pdf
Any site we stay at is definitely dog friendly DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
