Naked ladies
Ok not really any naked ladies.
Picked up a new to me disco this afternoon, its the GS version so basic as can be which is ok for me.
The question I have is the radio is the single slot with built in 6 disc changer with no nav screen, no steering controls or anything, so can I just swap this out for a double din or is there an amp anywhere.
The door cards have one speaker and not two if that makes a difference. In theory if there's no amp then its a straight swap out apart from a facia surround.

Better check it doesn’t have an amp under drivers seat

Ignition power needs to be taken from the rear of cigar lighter
If you need want to use the radio antenna, you need a relay. See below.

Thanks for that, I'll just buy an adaptor and facia plate then ..... as long as there's no amp. If there is an amp is there a solution to use it or do I just start from scratch and run new cables etc etc.

If you want one of the Garmin satnavs (Garmin Drive 61LMT-S 6 Inch Touchscreen Sat Nav EU Maps) that fit behind the centre dash top like the factory fitted one, i have one spare with lifetime maps that i am not going to use - if it helps.
