Medically, an adult is assumed to be 70-80 KG.
7x 70Kg=490Kg, BUT 7x80Kg= 560Kg (gosh I'm good at maths)
the 512kg needs dividing by 6 though doesn't ?

In Australia, the Kerb Weight is 2432kg max to the TDV6 and the GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) is 3230Kg, allowing 798kg capacity
We don't use the Euro spec weights which include a 75kg driver etc. Ours is a 'dry weight"; i.e without fuel or people. So this 800kg must include all these plus any extras. Have a nice day!

Thanks everyone. The c.1 ton of stone certainly didn't have any adverse affect on the D3. It was in blocks & at the very rear of the boot area (too heavy to load in further back). Drove just fine
I'll get a set of scales to weigh my fatty mates next time I carry 5 or 6 passengers. The lard arses will have to walk, health & safety you know
