How much for 1st service
There's loads of prices on here recently for 2nd service, but how much am I expecting to be fleeced for my 1st service due in January (or maybe december at the rate I'm going this month!)
If it's worth it, I'll make the trip to LLR or Yeovil.
Any idea also how long 1st service takes, is it soemthing that I could log on in reception to work for a few hours or is it most of the day jobby?
Things to report for 1st service
Warranty - Annoying wiper blade noise
Warranty - Air suspension seems to sink whilst stationary (only sometimes)
I pay extra for - PTI update provided the TSB00093 has been officially released by then.

I know Lakeland had a nice Internet enabled PC in the customer waiting area last time I was there. Why not take the wife up far a nice weekend in Coniston?

Forget the LR ones, got these (Valeo X-TRM UM665) few months ago & they are silent as a mouse during a quiet time!!!

Let me know what they say about the air suspension sinking. We've had that for 3 years to no solution.2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7

DSL, wanted to see if the updated blades made much difference first before parting with my own money.
Good luck getting them changed through warranty, I tried that with my stealer & got nowhere.

Don't know if it's too far for you, but Duckworth's (Market Rasen) have just quoted me £225 (inc VAT) and mine's due in on Saturday. From my previous experience with them - they do an excellent job and can thoroughly recommend them.
RichardI was taught to be cautious.
FYI, just had mine done at LLR £260 inc lots of coffee, banter etc but after 3 attempts to update the bluetooth, time had beaten us and I still have no phonebook transfer, going to try again in feb once the software is sorted out from LR

£239 inc VAT from Hunters in Bristol, a bit of a drive for you though. I had it done in September so it is a current price.
Maybe you could get a price match locally?

Last week....£289 at pilling in Welwyn. a saving of £70 compared to the most expensive quote from a nearby Stealer in Luton. They collected from home and returned afterwards, wahsed and hoovered, left a complimentary litre of oil for top ups and even remembered to make up the service history book. Not bad really. To have travelled further would have used fuel and my time netting of the saving on the service.D3 HSE, Stornoway grey, 2007 MY, side steps, privacy glass, door protection strips.
