A few bits I've done recently and not so recently!
Had the passenger front wheel bearing replaced for it's mot in April I think so I decided to do the drivers side as well as it didn't feel great to me!

And then a lot more recently as in a few weeks ago I fitted an Altox timer to my FBH. Cant believe I haven't done this sooner........it's great!

I wrote a thread dedicated to my Altox fitting here:
And lastly, yesterday I did a gearbox flush (a poor mans flush) following the instructions in Filo's thread located below and a few pointers off Disco Jake
I put twelve litres through mine and added some fresh Dr Tranny. I did this as a final straw to try to improve my gearbox symptoms which have been getting worse over time and unfortunately for me it just cemented the fact that I need my gearbox reconditioned
A few pictures of the process

The time has come for me and Vinnie to part company, as I've now moved on to a D4. He served me well and taught me hell of a lot about Discovery's, good and bad! Hopefully we'll still see him on the forum as his new owner is also a member.
This was the day I went to view him
And this is the most recent picture I have of him

Rest assured Vinny is in good hands and has already had a full hot pressure wash underbody and a valet Vinny is already booked in for modified oil pump housing, timing belts and service. Just got to wait 2 weeks as they are flat out at the moment.

Sounds like he's getting spoilt.........he won't know himself with all of this pampering!
I take it my valet before you arrived wasn't quite up to scratch then
