dimet - go back one page and see my previous post re:maxx raxx and alko-stabilisers - call Max and have a chat (don't there there is a swan-neck option other than changing your hitch to winterhoff).
Spotter - no issues with towing & carrying bikes - just back from Dorset over Easter with van & three bikes hanging off the maxx-raxx. Although I did have Max himself set mine up - so I guess I got lucky!? where is the maxx-raxx bracket bending - any pics available?2007 TDV6SE Auto Stornoway Grey - now sold...

this one was fitted by Max as well...like mine....the second time.....
The trailer basically touched the support for the upright on left lock, which is now a bit chewed, but then the whole unit rotates around the swanneck (torqued up properley), which is not good for your rear window. Sorry no photos but I did see it.
New unit has been fitted , not warranty, as "owner error"...wrong sort of trailer I suppose........end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

I echo the above post.
I ordered it on Sunday night and arrived by Tue morning. I received a call on Mon morning to confirm my username for this site.
The build quality is awesome, very very nice and solid too.
Highly recommended Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:

Maxxraxx discount still available
I just rang Maxxraxx and ordered a 4 bike premier rack with lightboard. The 20% discount on the rack still stands - (doesn't apply to accessories but still, great value).
Reduced the price of the Premier rack from £157 to £125.
The number to call is 01342 841989, you'll need your disco3 userid.

Hi Guys,
I thought I would post a message to clarify a couple of things. We are still offering a discount on our racks for the forum members, the discount is 15% off of the RRP for the Maxxraxx cycle carrier. All you need to do is quote your membership name when ordering. If you order from our website then enter the promotional code Disco3.co.uk in the box provided and also your membership name in the additional information field.
We can fit our racks to the detachable tow-bars, unfortunately you will not be able to tow anything using an ALKO or Winterhoff stabiliser with our bracket attached. Because our bracket is a semi-permanent fitting you will not be able to tow even if you are not carrying the bikes . Please email me directly for details on this.
All the Best

I've spoken to MaxxRaxx today and they've confirmed forum discount as above (ie 15%) still stands.
Order either over the phone or on line and enter promo code, also as above.D4 XS MY12 Galway
