Wednesday August 7 we buttoned everything else up and as we were adding coolant, noted a pinhole leak in the radiator, so all on hold until we get a new radiator, part number LR021777...1967 Ford Bronco 289 V8 (1968)

My curiosity would have got the better of me and I would have gone for a start - pinhole or not.
Well we thought about it and then decided that the best course of action would be to make sure that everything was good before carrying on. We are going to remove the radiator and have a local company have a look at it, they repair a lot of oilfield equipment and are willing to take a peek, it can't hurt. The attached photo is of the radiator removed (took us 2 hours), the air conditioning condenser is visible, the removal is a real "bear" compared to other vehicles I've owned...
Well the moment of truth arrived at about 1720 our time (MDT) when we tried to start the engine and it went like a charm. Engine runs like a clock but now I have to read the owners manual to figure out how the air suspension works, as this photo shows, I have not got a clue, also registering/activating the IIDTool, tomorrow will be busy!1967 Ford Bronco 289 V8 (1968)

Can I make a suggestion?
Could you confuse some people by removing the LAND ROVER letters and re-badging it as a LAND RANGER or a RANGER ROVER.
In fact I like RANGER ROVER, that will totally screw with the RR psyche.

We are thinking of calling it "Ranger" because we name our cars, like "Bronco Billy", Tisha Toyota", Nancy Nissan, Debbie Dodge and so on...1967 Ford Bronco 289 V8 (1968)

So Far approximately $4,900 Canadian which is approximately $3,684 in United States Dollars or Brazilian Real 14749.72. This includes the original price of the LR3 and the Ranger engine, plus all supplies so far. The big pain in the backside is not the money, but trying to figure out how to do the job...
I did this on a dare that it could not be done, so there are other circumstances...1967 Ford Bronco 289 V8 (1968)

Excellent costs!
Share with us your difficulties, maybe we can help you.
If you cannot control the original suspension control unit, replace the compressor with one of these:
