LR Driving Lamps

Now got two of these on the A-Frame but the light output is pretty weedy Crying or Very sad

I beleive these can take higher output bulbs so:
what max wattage can I fit?
and
what type of bulbs do I need to get?
TIA

Good question. I was planning to replace the 55w bulbs with 100w bulbs but I hadn't got as far as doing the maths yet...

Lets see, 200W, 12V, that's about 17A isn't it Question Means the fuse would need to be changed.

Question is - does anyone know if the LR wiring and relay would be up to this Question

BCB yes 17A is right on the maths

I had mine excellently wired by a well known member of this forum Whistle I hope he allowed for that current draw on the cabling... not sure what rating the relay was either

The LR wiring is rated at 20A with a 30A relay so a fuse change to 20A (although you should really be doing the calcs at 14V) will be OK
TazDaz, your wiring is rated at 25A with a 30A relay Wink

Bow down
So, because of the wiring, I'd be borderline for taking mine to 130w then Rolling Eyes

TazDaz - can't remember TBH, either H1 or H3 - this will be marked on the lamp (bulb) itself along with the wattage.... screwdriver time I think Wink
