Location of battery disconnect switch
I have been given a copy of the factory build details for my 06MY Disco after asking why some items were factory fitted, and some were not
One item listed as fitted during it's build is a battery disconect switch, anyone know where this is fitted ??
It could be useful at odd times if i knew where it was.
Cheers,
Nick

It might be this:
D3s are fitted with transport isolators when they are built so that the vehicle's battery can be disconnected whilst the vehicle is being carted about.
The dealers remove the cutoff switch and wire the battery up normally as part of the PDI.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Think the isolators are only fitted for 'deep sea' transportation, then returned to LR for re-use
here's a pic from LR / Volvo's transportation guidance
Note that they are switching the negative connection not the more traditional positive.

Well I've seen one fitted to a D3 at the dealer in Stratford-upon-Avon, delivery to which I don't think involves a deep sea crossing from Solihull 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
