We migth have en explanation to why there is shortage of EGR valves..... - not short supply from the manufactury - but heavy demand!
I am really lucky that it waited until Saturday to hit me. On Friday we had to take our boat (on a trailer) to the harbour and do a test drive with a new motor, take it up again and back to the winter storage. That is a 2,5 t boat thay I on Friday easily pulled up the ramp. If the EGR-fault had hit me, I would think that the boat, the trailer and the Disco would be on the bottom of the harbour now....

If you lucky, could also be Turbo, you need to do Diagnostic test and post which fault codes you get to be sure. Miles done? I have only done 25k. Search under author: DSL+turbo for more bad news A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2
MY09EGR's blanked Thanks Bellautos, BAS

Fitted a EGR blanking kit from BAS today - tight in places but nothing too technical and the instructions etc were very good - fast delivery from BAS too.
Noticed that the NSF was totally bunged up so was hopeful when I went for a test drive - no avail - still struggles to pul top at 50mph +, however does pull OK as if turbo cuts in at circa 3,000 rpm.....
Confused dot com!!!
Have a fault code reader coming - so I'll update then but any bright ideas are welcomed.
Cheers

If you get to read the fault codes, and you find P132B, thats what mine has and its because seized actuator link, turbo's fine. The turbo's variable vains locked on 20 % close, so that's why the boost only kick's in at 3000rpm. Would be suprised if its not turbo, start saving up A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2
