I know this is always being posted but can someone give me the latest software version details. Mine certainly has not got the HVAC update etc.
I told the service manager that I want the updated software when mine goes in for a new seatbelt tomorrow and he was quite moody as if I had a cheek for asking so I want to hit him with the exact info so he has nowhere to squirm.
Thanks in advanceZermatt silver 06 reg.

That was not meant to go through twice! Once would have been more than enough!

Tell him you'd like everything up to and including WDS13 Patch5, and that you are concerned about the software levels on the vehicle and would like to take advantage of the Reassurance Campaign.
Thanks Winger, I think that is what I will hit them with Zermatt silver 06 reg.

Listening in to the thread guys. Our 05 Se is due it's 15,000 service in approx. 600 miles. If I ask for all updates up to and including WDS13 Patch5 will that also deal with the cold air problem mentioned before in another topic?
Thanks

It should.
When it comes to asking for updates, you could also throw in a question about whether they are still using WDS or have they moved on to the DVD based system.......

Winger,
If the Stealer has changed over to IDS (DVD based) are the patch / update numbers the same, ie. does WDS13 Patch 5 become - IDS13 patch 5 DB

Just collected our D3 from its 30,000 mile service and asked if the latest software had been loaded up. The service receptionist advised that the vehicle automatically received the latest software upgrade each time it went in for a service and was hooked up to the electronic diagnostic equipment. Is that just BS ? How can you check whether the software is the latest version (is there perhaps a "version" command somewhere ?).Disco 4 TDV6HSE

As my RRS TDv6 is in the dealer for 4 days this week (not all due to service requirement but because I cannot collect it until Friday!) for it's 1st service being done early at 10800 miles and to have a few bits that got missed out on the production line put on. Do these upgrades apply to RRS as well as D3?Now a disillusioned new Land Rover buyer and have jumped ship to something less expensive and more reliable that hugs trees.... now driving a Mini Countryman PHEV as well as my trusty and brilliant 1996 Epsom Green Defender90 Tdi300
I would think they do Tim as they are mainly running, communication and HVAC updates.
I suppose yours may get them anyway as they might have to hook yours up to activate the FBH, certainly worth enquiring about though as members who have had the recent upgrades have been very pleased with them.Zermatt silver 06 reg.
