Have you noticed an increase in soot on the rear of the vehicle as a result of the pipes now sticking out straight ?

Re: Large Bore Exhaust
That's the beauty of the JE exhaust - it still cunningly exits underneath.

What size is the exit hole, it looks smaller than the pipe size, If it is dont you think that it kind of defeats the object a bit ?
It looks like the 2.5" dia pipe is blocked at the end with a smaller hole at the bottom. Other than that i would say it is made by the same factory, the joints are in the same places, the hangers look the same, the only differance seems to be the tail pipes.CLUB "Ah Shor it'll be grand"

And it looks like somebody forgot to include the rear mufflers... Maybe they are an Australia only option?LeighW

The exit is the same diameter as the main pipe. The pipe actually has the usual downturned end, which is the exit you can see underneath. The polished tailpipe is a dummy. I'm not sure about the rear silencers but it sounds great. From the rear it sounds just like a V8 with that deep rumble

I think the photo is a little misleading. The angle makes the oval pipe and exit underneath look smaller than they are.
This shot gives a better idea of scale - the oval dummy pipe is actually quite a size.
As Paul said, the exit hole is actually a downturned pipe, like the original - only bigger.

Yes, now i see what you mean, the first pic was a bit missleading. That actually looks really good on the RRS.
i know what you mean about the sound, they do sound great, who needs a V8 anyway ?CLUB "Ah Shor it'll be grand"

They fit the valance cutouts on the RRS really nicely. On the D3 they look a little awkward, as they stick out under the rear valance. Almost like a couple of wheelbarrow handles sticking out. I may see if anything can be done like making cutouts in the D3 valance and using a RRS exhaust.

Hi,
I have a 2006 3 week old Metropolis TDV6 in black with 20" wheels and would love to get a sport exhaust! do you have any pictures? does yours use the 2 back boxes? I have been told that they do little and can be removed?
Look forwar to receiving any ideas & pics if anyone has any.
Thanks
