Landrover Experience Honiton. |
|
I have just got home from an afternoon at a place near Honiton where I attended the Landrover Experience.
A very clued up guy called Will was the Instructor, my son was the driver and I was the back seat passenger and wow it is a completely different outlook from the back seat to being the driver!
I have now found out that my D4 SE Tec has more brains than me.
With the correctly chosen programme from the selection available to me, it can climb hills so steep that all I could see was sky, it can descend wet grassy hills without any help from me, it can nearly swim through waist high water without getting the occupants wet and drove smoothly over lumps and bumps and ice and snow. The last bit, ice and snow, was simulated
What I was most surprised to hear was, that of all the purchasers of Landrovers that are given a voucher entitling them to a free Landrover Experience, only 16% ever take up the offer.
For a non 'freebie entitled' person to go on it would set them back £225.
So there must be a lot of very busy Landrover drivers or Landrover drivers that have such a sophisticated vehicle and only understand half of it's capabilities.
I would certainly recommend to anybody that has the opportunity to do it, to do it .
