Is my brake switch faulty again?? |
|
When I took delivery of my Discovery 4 in March 2013 it was a painful experience to try and convince the dealership that there was a problem with my car.
The problem was that when I slow down at a junction or roundabout the car engine would make a dull drowling vibration. A long story short they replaced the brake switch and the problem was resolved. I eventually noticed that this problem would occur when the engine rev below 1000rpm
and clears when revs go above 1000rp.
But the same occurrence happened again in November 2013 and a different dealer changed the brake switch again the problem reocurred again a couple of weeks later and this time the vibration is there but less than previous.
I booked my car in for JAn 2014 and guess what the engineer was on a training course and I was furious as I had too wait so long over the christmas period. now they said I had too book it in again and I had to wait til 10th Feb 2014.
What crappy service for LR Dealership.
I wanted to ask the Land rover Moderator on this site is there a person on this site that has contact with Land Rover Engineers at the plant and ask them what they think is going on with my car?
