Remember large parts of the ridgeway are now closed until April, makes getting to the other lanes in the area a bit harder.
A group of D2 boys were in Salisbury last weekend, very very muddy!
I sadly couldn't make it, and I feel like crap today and probably going to be worse tomorrow!

Count me in. The wife is off doing her thing, so I'll come out to play.
See you at 10am.
Also, this'll give me a chance to play with my Memory Maps/GPS/Tough Book setup, as I haven't used it since I bought it.
EDIT to say, my brother in law might be coming with this Toyota, as he's just had some MT's put on, and wants to try them out.
Cheers

We had a really good time. Good to meet up with you "Cornishboy" and your buddy.
PM me next time you want to go, and I'll meet up.
It was wet and muddy, with lots of standing water, but nothing the D3 couldn't handle.
Cheers

Salisbury plain is fine for standard D3's
It's the flint that gets the tyres if you wheel spin too much

Yes you can do The Plain in standard tyres as there is not much real "claggy" mud just alot of water…….
Also under the mud there is plenty of as said "flint" to get grip…...
Sorry not much on the photo front - we were having too much fun and it was raining a fair bit.
2 x D3, a Defender 90 and a Toyota Surf - all did surprisingly well.
