Had a great experience at the weekend, the instructor was a total fan boy and when he found out about me being in this forum and a D3 owner he became really interested and I got far more than I bargained for in 2 hrs!!!
The quarry course really shows what our cars can do and I was blown away by it all... Can really recommend to anyone new ish to ownership and who wants to know what our vehicles can do.

i did mine here also.
the lads are great and very enthusiastic.
was also amazed at how the D4 effortlessley ploughed through deep mud and up a wet and muddy incline on the p zero road tyres.
i think i upset my instructor though as i asked which was the best off roader that LR make out of the FFRR RRS & Discovery, he sighed and said what about the freelander to which i said i meant proper off roader....... guess what his pride and joy was!!!XC90 T8 R Design Pro
MY14 D4 HSE Lux (sadly gone)
Mariana Black with Ivory interior and lots of toys!
I've done the course there in a D3, D4 and FL2... and when I get around to booking it, a RRS.
I think the course they used to use a Bala was better ie it was a bigger site and had more variety. But have thoroughly enjoyed the visits to Peckforton.
As said, the lads there are great and know their stuff. As you slide down the banister of life

Great place
I also did mine here. When I bought my d4 I got a free afternoon. Turned out much longer than I expected. My instructor was great, a fellow LR fanboy with a d3 HSE. One of the things that stuck with me from the day -was a recipe for beer can chicken - go figure. Great chicken though and a great day. D3 Java Black 57 Plate SE, Night Breakers, Grabber ATs, Sidelight LEDs and best of all - Narpy torch. loads more to buy.
