A tinternet trawl has found several companies view the Disco Commercial as a van when it comes to insurance, so will have another look at the usual.

goatquote looked promising, but said couldn't find anyone matching my requirements, ie.goods up to £50k, so tried 25, still nothing.

Slightly different but we have to take out three insurances, the vehicles are are insured on a fleet policy, covers you for your own goods, plus a bit more for hire and reward, but then another policy for Goods in Transit plus the standard Public Liability.

Managed to get the right policy with Highway, a sisiter company of LV, who didn't actually suggest them!
It isn't a motor traders policy as I am not involved with the motor trade, it is a hauliers policy which allows me to move all manner of goods for 'Hire or Reward'.
It is only for the prime mover, goods insurance is via another policy elsewhere.
