I’d like to know if any Highways D3/4’s ever did suffer crank failure.
 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

As far as I can understand I believe the 3.0 D5's have the same engine but possibly 1 turbo so snapped cranks will probably continue unless they have improved them somewhat or just using 2.0 versions.

Many Thks , as I did wonder what engine they used and indeed like u say if they’ve been improved Thumbs Up

Would be rather embarrassing for JLR if these new D5s also suffered from the crank issues

looks more like an estate car than an 4x4

prehaps L/R should offer it as an option
